Pakistan Society of Neurosurgeons is the biggest and the oldest body of neurosurgeons in the country, with history dating back to very humble beginnings in 1967. Over the last four decades it has grown into one of the most active neurosurgical societies of South Asia with regular Annual Meetings, training courses and workshops conducted all over the country. Many regional chapters are actively carrying out academic activities in their own areas and the Society is now at a stage where it is bringing forth subsections like Skull Base, endoscopy, spine, Neurooncology and Neurotrauma sections. A Young Neurosurgeons Forum is striving to build academic, clinical and social bridges between the senior and fresh members of the Pakistani neurosurgical community.
